How are you guys doing? You know while I was in Malaysia for 3 weeks I was fairly impressed with my immune system the entire time. I mean I wasn’t ill… no colds… just some allergies; nothing anti histamine can’t fix.

I came back to the U.K. and in less than 2 weeks I fall ill again. (Thanks useless WCC). You may think that maybe my neurophils are a little useless because of autoimmune neutropaenia. But actually I am more sus about my lymphocytes… I have been literally bounded to my bed all day yesterday with my baby sister Qyuni looking after Mr. Monday and Lil’Tuesday. I genuinely was struggling until she came home from uni. Lil’Tuesday was LITERALLY pulling my eyelids open every minute or so telling me not to fall asleep (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )

A lot of you have been asking me did I enjoy my time back home / how was my holiday. So I think I should expand a little on it.

Basically it was intensely hot. I could barely survive a moment without air conditioning. Perhaps is it because I’m a little chubbier hence my adipose tissue was unnecessarily working over time? Or is it because it’s been 5 years since I last went back home and I am now de-acclimatised from my own country’s weather?!?!?! (ง ͠ಥ_ಥ)ง Monday and Tuesday wasn’t struggling too bad actually. Sure their faces were as red as tomatoes, but at least they weren’t actually sweating — or is that a faulty temperature homeostasis there? ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!

Other than the heat, it was basically just us eating every hour or so. WAHAHAHAHA. How could we resist? the food in Malaysia is the best. Many more not displayed below, but Monday finished an entire pig stomach on his own. Tuesday had countless roti canai. I had perhaps approximately 80 cempedak goreng? ( ꈍ◡ꈍ)

Unfortunately we can’t stay there any longer than 3 weeks (well, 2 and half). We spent the first week in a 5 star hotel with private pool and steam room, facing the sea. It was a great relaxation for me and the kids. Kids were in the pool EVERY-DAY. Even after we came home, they still go down to the pool in my parent’s flat. They basically has turned from wary swimmers to unreasonably brave swimmers. We didn’t go to the seaside of the beach though; just the sandy part. It just felt so unnecessary and the kids were mesmerised by all the sands.

The second and third week was a lot of meeting family members. As per my previous post, my aunt invited us over for meal, many other aunts invited us for meal. I’m truly lucky to have them around. Other than some of my cousins and my eldest aunt, we definitely did not miss out anybody. Sadly I was not able to drive because I left my driving license back in the U.K…… so unfortunately I had to rely on my parents to bring me around. Hence I couldn’t travel far to meet our family. The ones further managed to met up still, such as my father in law; which was lovely. The kids really enjoyed meeting him and knowing him better. He is always such a sweet heart as usual. He has a palm tree plantation which he apparently never tried eating the fruits before ( •̯́ ₃ •̯̀). I actually cheekily told him how when I was younger in my grandmother’s village (which is right beside a palm oil plantation), my cousin would sneak into the plantation to steal some fruits to grill for us as snack. Yeah well cousin…. that’s probably not the best thing to do… but I guess we were kids (๑>؂•̀๑).

I finally also met my best friends after 10 years. I mean — there were too many friends I could not meet; especially my online made friends in KL as well as my highschool friends who are kinda dotted everywhere RN. I felt bad I didn’t call them to meet up; but I’m sure they understand why. It’s not easy bringing two little munchkins around on my own. But I’m still pretty proud that I managed the long flights with them without losing my sanity!!

The events on the flights are exceptionally hilarious yet insane — so many things happened; I’m not gonna bore you with it. Hit me up if you’re curious ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )
